I missed a chance in this one to do very well and there's no telling when
that chance will come around again. I had some intermittent line noise
that bothered me on the low bands Friday and Saturday nights. It was
amazing how quiet both 160 and 80 were when the noise took a break, which
wasn't often. Fortunately, the high bands were not affected through
Saturday. Unfortunately, the noise messed up the high bands on
Sunday. The high band runs on Sunday morning were just not there because
of the noise. There was no way I could run stations on 10 because I
couldn't hear the weak stations well enough to copy. Bummer! Now I've got
to do the GA Power routine and hope they can (or will try to) find the
trouble. At least I have a year to work on it. As an side note, I was
able to copy better through the noise on my second radio an IC-765, than I
could on my MP. I even ran a few stations on the 765 on 10M but the noise
was so bad that I was basically all S&P on the band.

Nice 20M EU sunrise opening on Saturday morning. I had 3 hours at 2, 3 and
4 a.m. of 78, 99 and 100 QSOs, respectively.

I wound up sleeping for 3 hours Saturday night from about 8 p.m. to 11
p.m., and was surprised that I felt much better Sunday than I did
Saturday. I may write more later but I'm not hitting on all 8 cylinders
yet. (Or in my case, 4 cylinders/LP)

Anyway, here's the summary:

BAND Raw QSOs Valid QSOs Points Countries
  ______________________________________________________

   160CW 15 15 45 12

  Totals 2104 2060 6180 317

     Final Score = 1959060 points.
