Traditionally, many of the participants in the NAQP RTTY contest form
teams to add an additional competitive component. Often, one will see
messages coming across the RTTY reflector soliciting team members for
various organizations or groups.

There's really not much too it: form your team, register the team name
and team members with the sponsoring organization, reference your team's
name when you report your individual score to the sponsor (3830 and SECC
reflectors). The winner is the team that has the highest total score of
all team members. Participation on a team does not affect your
individual participation or standing in the normal competitive
categories.

I don't think there's a limit to the number of team members. But seems
like I've seen an average of about five on each team in past years.

So a few of us have talked it over and decided to form a SECC team
effort for this summer's RTTY NAQP to be held Jul 17-18. So far we have
the following SECC members signed up:

KE4KWE
K9MUG
WX4TM

Anyone interested in a little additional competition on the side to help
make the SECC look good, drop me an email. We'd be glad to have you join
us. If we can get another 7 or so, we could even form two teams. So
don't hesitate simply because we already have 3 signed up.
