With all the talk about 'old' contacts, was anyone around when the GSN was started? My brain cell is fuzzy on this, but I think I was part of the start up group that got the Ga. Slow Net going on CW. Used to NCS the GSN, the slow net, 4RN, and then the EAN...very fun days but my high school grades kinda suffered! My novice call was WN4BQF, issued in early 1953. Tom - W4BQF
