[SECC] Announcement Summer FISTS Sprint

To all FISTS members and others who might join in the FISTS Summer 
Sprint.  The time and date have been changed.  It will be Friday, July 
13 from 8 PM to 12 midnight EDT, 7 to 11 PM, CDT, and Saturday, July 14, 
00 to 04 UCT.  This change is to avoid a conflict with the IARU RS 
Contest, which has been a problem with the FISTS Summer Sprint since it 
was first begun.  I have long lobbied FISTS to move it, but to the same 
times as the other sprints, but on Sunday afternoon, rather than 
Saturday afternoon.  This would have accomplished the same 
thing--avoiding a conflict with IARU--but would have put it on Sunday 
afternoon when more people seem to be interested in contesting than I 
think are interested in contesting on Friday night.  Maybe events will 
prove me wrong.  I hope to be QRV for this interesting 4-hour CW Sprint 
and I hope many of you will as well.  73, John, K4BAI.
