Jeff,
I actually heard that guy a few times last night but thankfully didn't have
the misfortune of working him -- he was busy working you I think. But the
reason they keep it above 3.8mhz is cause some of us are just too lazy to go
take the Extra test.. ;)

Comments:

Bad conditions + low activity = Bad Score

That had to be the worst phone sprint I ever operated!!!

A suggestion to the sponsor - Change the suggested 75 meter frequencies to
somewhere lower in the band (i.e around 3700) so we don't have to deal with
the
"head cases" that frequent this band above 3800. This KE5*** station in LA
would
call people making up a bogus number and then proceed tell you you have
great
audio and ask what type of radio and mike you were using. He would then bark
like a dog making you think his dog was barking at him. He would then start
asking off the wall questions like "Do you have a dog? I heard him repeat
the
same routine to other stations he called. Weird !!! I did get a good laugh
when
I heard K4BAI working him and asked him how his dog was doing ? John must
know
this guy ?? I truely believe many people avoid the phone sprint because of
what
you have to deal with on 75 meters.
