Comments:

Unfortunately, away from the rig during the best times of day.  Then there's
the
tiny little halo antenna a few feet off the ground to round out the excuses.
There is a KW amp in the works, as well as a decent mast mounted antenna -
so,
the VHF signal should get better before the end of the year.  After 49 years
of
contesting, I am just now getting hooked on the magic band - I really have
missed something worth the effort.
