[SECC] SECC Net Update

Just a short update to let everyone know the SECC Net idea is still alive!  I just spoke with Mike, W4MJA again today who has agreed to be our NCS (net control station).  Mike had to take down his antennas in preparation for a big construction project in his yard which is now near completion.  Antenna work etc is scheduled to start next weekend.  If the tree ropes made it through the winter he should be in good shape.        

We had a very positive response for this idea and thank you for patiently waiting.  I'm confident the SECC net will be on-the-air soon!  Here's a list of the people expressing interest in the net.  I apologize if I missed a couple folks?

This idea is quickly building interest!  The responses are leaning toward SSB on 80/75.  So far we've heard from 12 people already that are interested.  Mike, W4MJA has volunteered to be the net control station (NCS).  John, K4BAI has volunteered to be 1st alternate NCS.  How about a 2nd alternate NCS?    

Anyone else interested or have ideas to share?  Please post to the group.

Several have expressed an interest in Tom's idea to start an SECC net.  Anyone else interested in participating in an SECC net?  CW / SSB?
