My contesting time has dropped significantly over the past couple of 
years, but I always try to get in to the Sweepstakes.
In my first effort as a novice in 1969, I netted 27 QSO's using two 
crystal frequencies on 15 meters. Not my best effort, but I did a little 
better this year.
