I don't know about relays, but you might want to show her the echo dot from amazon if your wifi will reach far enough. We were about to get a new FM rx for the kitchen awhile back when someone told us about the echo dot.

I am listening to the NYC public radio station here right now on one. Excellent fidelity for music etc. I just say "alexa, play wnyc" to "tune " it in. I could also say "alexa, shuffle songs by celine dion", etc.

You probably need an Amazon Prime account to use it, but you probably have this already. Prices vary. I don't see any discounts right now but they are as low as $20 apiece at times. I understand Google has a similar product/service.

Anyone ever hear of an external mast mount FM or HDTV antenna that can relay signals from the mast to remote FM receivers? Kind of like a home wifi extender does? Haven't been able to find anything on the internet. New stereo does it, but I've no doubt the wife doesn't want to fiddle with doing internet radio so looking for regular FM broadcast signals. She is the type of person who wants to use the knobs on the front of the Bose Wave Radio and our older analog receivers that she has been using for years.
