Dear Bob,

I am writing to see if you know of anyone who is a radio operator and who
would be willing/able to set up their radio at First Pres. for an hour or
two this Saturday. Troop 60 will be hosting a city wide merit badge clinic
at the church in celebration of our 75th anniversary. It has just come to
our attention that this Saturday is also the date for the annual Jamboree On
The Air (JOTA), where scouts worldwide communicate via radio (see
arrl.org/ead/jota.html ). Bill and I think it would be wonderful if our
scouts could participate in JOTA, so I started asking around the church.
