[SEDXC] antennas

Years ago, Pete Rhodes, K4EWG, and Ben Painter, W4BBP, did some
experimentation with a mono-band antenna.  It had a 4 element log cell with
a reflector and a director or two.  Does anyone know if they published in CQ
or Qst?  If so, does anyone remember the issue?  If not, does anyone know
where I could find the data?

I have tried to reach Ben Adams, K4EZ, but cannot find where he lives or if
he is a silent key.  He would have to be about 100 if he is still QRV.
