Jim, OM...and fellow OMs:

I am saddened to report to you that Hal Vincent, NN4S, is doing very =
poorly in health at this moment...and has approximately a week or so =
remaining in his up-to-now vibrant and exciting life.

He and his wife, Jean, have decided to terminate all treatment.  They =
have cancelled dialysis sessions and have decided not seek post-op =
consultation with Athens Regional Hospital for amputation =
rehabilitation.  A recent test has revealed a lung spot...

The feeding tube is being removed shortly and it is only a matter of =
time now since Hal's ability to chew, swallow and digest is severely =
limited.

Hal (Harold)  is currently at the Morgan Memorial Hospital, Transitional =
Care Unit, 1077 South Main Street, Madison, GA 30650;  phone =
706-342-1667.  Hal's home address is 1191 Fawnfield Drive, Buckhead, GA =
30625;  phone 706-485-7025.

I am on my way to the hospital now to visit.  Any or all of you who can =
be in contact with the family is encouraged to do so.  Jean will need =
all of the comfort and support you can share with her.
