Hello all:

Thanks for all the support for the 2004 Georgia QSO Party, in spite of
its falling on Easter weekend and falling on the weekend of the memorial
service for W4AN. Below, I am summarizing the claimed scores that I
have been able to find out about through 3 PM today. I am not breaking
the QSOs and Mults down by mode, but will try to note if a log is one
mode only.

I hope we will be able to do even better next year. The most fun is
running a mobile or rover. But, it is important for fixed stations to
be QRV as well to keep the stations busy and interested on all bands and
modes. Jeff will try to give us an idea if we got all counties active
this year or not. It will be an accomplishment when and if we ever get
all 159 Ga counties workable on one weekend. So far, it seems possible
that we did it, but many logs are yet to arrive, of course.

For information of W4NTI and others close by the borders, there was a
lot of 40 meter activity this year even during the heart of the day
since 20 meters was weak and long most of the time. Stations in Ala
such as KA1DWX and W4NBS seemed to be quite busy on 40 and I hope they
were on 80 also. (We didn't have an 80-meter resonator with us.)

Jeff said today that he estimates he has already received 50 logs.

Please look for me and Jeff again mobile multi/single in the Florida QSO
Party on April 24 and 25. Let's hope for good conditions and real short
skip too, hi.

73,

John, K4BAI.
