The report in The Daily DX yesterday of the death of W1FH was erroneous. 
  A correction was published later in the day.  Charlis is in a 
rehabilitation/nursing facility in failing health after breaking a hip a 
few months ago.  The erroneous report apparently originated from 
Charlie's friend, W1UQ/PJ7UQ.  However, both Bernie, W3UR of The Daily 
DX and Bruce, K1AJ, another long time friend, have talked to the 
daughter of W1FH since the report was published and she says that he is 
in failing health and may not live much longer, but was not a SK as of 
Tuesday of this week.  73, John, K4BAI.
