[SEDXC] Was VU7 this morning on 17M...

Hi Gang,
I haven't been hearing them at a copyable level until this morning on 20m
cw. I started hearing them around 14:30. Peaked around 15:00 and are still
in and out at 15:30. They were very decent copy for 30 minutes. Had everyone
spread out up 10 to 20. The bandscope was lit up solid so couldn't see where
they were working to tailgate. 
No, despite calling a hundred times, I didn't work them.
"Only" 1 KW and Mosley pro 57 @ 65 feet. Gotta get some more watts ...maybe
one of them steppers too. Are ya listening santa?

The VU7 signals have been marginal at my QTH by any standard.....I did work
them on 40 cw one evening despite all of the policemen who nobody listens to
..... I'm glad I didn't need them or I would have to be out there trying to
get an "insurance" contact.

They were weak here despite all of the "599" reports...I sure didn't give
them a 599!!!  This was listening on a full size Telrex monobander at 110
feet (with 66 foot full size elements)....
