Respectfully I must agree with Dave.  The rules were put into place many 
years ago as we were always getting request for donations and there has to 
be a line drawn somewhere to be fair to all.  I think on ones that don't 
meet the criteria a donation could be taken up.  Those that want to donate 
could speak with their pocketbooks and possibly there could be a fund 
started for the "wannabes" and anyone who wanted to donate that fund could 
do so but I believe the club monies should be for the most rare as the rules 
state now.
