Wes,

With all due respect (I mean that sincerely), the contribution rule was put 
in the club by-laws a very long time ago by some wise club members for a 
very good reason.  It is my opinion that the rule has served us well over 
the years.  I am just one voice but if the club should decide to change this 
rule, I hope the change will include some new ways to raise additional funds 
other than an increase in dues.  Lets put our thinking caps on.  Maybe we 
could start a special fund for contributions to DXpeditions that don't meet 
our "Most Wanted" rule and fund it through a foundation or any of dozens of 
fund raising ideas that the members could come up with.

Or, maybe we should just leave well enough alone.  What say folks?
