The ARRL Web  site and K7RAN reports the lone survivor of that mining
accident in West  Virginia is none other than KC8VKZ, Randal McCloy Jr.
He was transferred to  the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh,
PA.  One of Randy's dreams  is to become an electrician.  Let's all
hope he has a speedy  recovery.  I sent him a QSL (get well card) via
the hospital address,  which is Allegheny General Hospital, 320 East
North Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA  15212.
