[SEDXC] Is there an FT1000D expert around?

Hi SE DX Club,

I guess it is because the CQ WW contest is coming ... that 
something with my FT1000D has decided to act up.

Told the wife I was "on the way to HRO to buy a new 
rig--that didn't go well.

Symptoms are the following;

    Very, very low audio output using AFSF from the computer 
or either of two mikes with different cables.
    Very low power out...20 watts in CW

Have disconnected/re-connected all computer cables, etc., 
etc. It is working now.

May be related to how many hours the rig is on...will know 
tonight I guess.

Anyone have a clue(s)? Can the T/R relay do this?
