Worthmore 300+  **** SOLD ****
(Commonly called a 2-Pill Amplifier)
12Volts, Draws about 35 Amps.
100 Watts in, will give you about 300 Out on 20M and higher.
40M and 80 M, it will do about 500 Watts.
Has 2 Transistors, No SWR protection.
Very simple Amplifier On/Off Switch.
CB Amp type design that is RF Keyed.
At one time I owned about 3 of these and ran them mobile.
If you blow the finals, they are easy to replace.
Not a very good amp to run on a screw driver type antenna due to no SWR Protection for the finals.
I used mine with Hustler Coils that were pre-tuned to low SWR, and never had a problem.
This unit is a spare, I kept it around to swap out when I use to travel a lot.
You can run this amp and a Icom 706 on a 45A Power supply with no problems.
I did this once for field day, and it worked great.
Price: $200  **** SOLD ****

Ameritron ALS-500
This was the model before they came out with the one they sell today where you can connect a remote control head.
It is my understanding they can be returned and converted if you want to pay the cost.
This one was never mobile, it's in a open box, and has the 10/12M board installed.
I used it twice as a backup here at home on a Astron Power Supply when I had the need to return one of my Alpha's
for repair.  Has very nice SWR protection, and I had a similar unit I used to run in my SUV and it worked great
on my High Sierra Screwdriver antenna.
This one has the original mobile cable, and a spare cable wired to use on a Power Supply.
Price: $500

Astron RS-70M (Used to run the ALS-500)
Original Box, used twice to run the above amp.
Specs: 70A Surge 57A continuous with Amp and Volt Meters.
Price: $175

Local pickup for now...
I would consider shipping, making this available for SEDXC Members.

Thanks,
Keith, K4KAL
