I am sure you are aware there is a DO NOT CALL List directory to get your phone number blocked from Telemarketers.
If you don't, the website is: https://www.donotcall.gov/

There is also a website available that is similar which is a DO NOT MAIL.
You can now remove your address from lists to stop getting a lot of the junk mail from your mailbox.

This info was provided by Clark Howard recently, and I just happen to have time to investigate today.

It does not cost anything, so if you are interested in spending some time and follow the links you can stop junk mail too.
