Hi Gang,
Some of you may remember the presentation I did a few years ago on the
antenna tilting device I made for my then new, SteppIR antenna. In case
anyone in the club has an interest in getting one of these for a SteppIR (or
any similarly sized HF Yagi), I've started selling them. See message
pasted in below that was posted today or go to my web page at:

After fours years of requests and encouragement from the XYL and friends
here, and others, I'm going to start offering my tiltplates for sale. I'm
doing this mainly for fun and because I think it's something that is useful
to the community. There seems to be a lot of interest in a simple mechanism
to allow hams to work on their antenna from the ground.

I've got a patent in the works and a shop full of parts and material for the
first run. My first two models are still working great after four years.
The new TiltPlate3 combines the best of both and uses only the best parts
for many years of trouble free service. You can get a copy of the
specification, price, and installation instructions on my web page.

I expect to begin taking orders in a few weeks for delivery in March. And
there is a link to get on the list (no obligation) if you would like to be
notified when I'm ready to go.

Rather build one yourself? The documention for the two earlier models is
still on the web page for anyone who wants to build their own.
