Gang,

I will be at the SEDXC meeting this coming Wednesday August 19th. I will be available to check DXCC applications and will accept QSLs for the ARRL outgoing QSL service.

If you ONLY need credit for your 7O1YGF QSOs ( I am authorized to check all of those QSOs ) there is no charge for an application for just that credit ( No limit on band/Mode QSOs ). You STILL must complete the normal DXCC application and list each QSO that you desire credit for. You also still need to bring an SAE addressed to DXCC Desk or I will furnish envelope stamp and mail for 50 cents.

The charge for mailing QSLs for the ARRL outgoing QSL bureau is 6 cents per QSL for your home call and 7 cents per QSL for mailing QSLs for any other DX calls you hold.

I still GET QSLs in incorrect order and for countries that do not accept bureau QSLs. This is the most time consuming part of my job. All QSLs should be grouped and sorted by the PARENT prefix of the DXCC country. This means that all QSLs for ENGLAND should be grouped together and sorted under the G prefix regardless of the actual prefix used by the English HAM. ( M, GB, G and so on.). I also get QSLs for DXpeditions and stations who have clearly stated "DO NOT SEND QSLs VIA BUREAU"

You MUST include your ARRL membership information! You can use a copy of a label from a QST or simply write your membership information ( including the # ) on a piece of paper.
Please Pay in CASH only. This is a change from the past, but we found that checks sit around until I mail the big batch of QSLs. Plus it easier for me to write the Club a check for the TOTAL after processing expenses. The Club pays the ARRL $10 a pound for processing and I send them to the ARRL via FedEx. The 6 cents per QSL barely covers the cost and in many cases doesn't even do that. Any extra money received is turned back to the treasurer.

Any question please call. See you at meeting.
