[SEDXC] Customized Great Circle Maps

Several  years ago at Dayton I was sorely tempted to buy a great circle
world map centered on my location to hang on the shack wall.          I
restrained myself and instead used free software from Jim Tonne instead.  I
thought I would pass on the URL for this software.  There are some awfully
good, free ham software packages at the site in addition to the mapping
entry.

You can take the file generated by the software to Office Depot or a similar
place and have it printed.  You can also use the file to build a screen
saver.  The resolution of the file is good enough to hold up for a
nice-sized print.

BUT - sometimes there is an extraneous line

from the upper-left corner to the middle

and if this happens to you on the printout

tell me.  Don't know what causes it and about

time I address the issue.  Doesn't always

happen.

Did you fine the ceramic filter equivalent

somewhere?

I have been meaning to ask you something for a while but never got around to
it, but here's my chance.  I would have sworn that not that many years ago I
found a program that allowed you to center a map on your location and to
create a beam heading map.  In fact I made such a map of the world a few
years back, took the file to Office Depot, had it printed and hung it on the
shack wall.  I think I discussed that map with you one year at the Dayton
hamfest. What I want to do now is to make such a map based on the United
States.  So the other day I went back to your site and couldn't find the
program (it may actually have been an on-line process.) Memory is a funny
thing, and I could be mistaken that it was your software.  Did you ever have
such a package, and if so where should I look for it?

I have had success modeling ceramic filters.
I don't have the data on that model. Is it a 
two-poler or higher-order? And what is the
bandwidth? Are the terminations 300 ohms?
