[SEDXC] Question about working DX on PSK---Exchange?

Hey Tad,

Welcome to the wonderful world of PSK31! Once you get happy with
that, you should try Olivia and FeldHell next.

To answer your question, I've seen some ragchews, but so far it's been
perfectly acceptable to refuse to get drawn into one. Most operators
I've worked so far give the signal report up front, so even if they're
ragchewers by nature you can still get away from them fairly
gracefully.

Again, welcome! I've heard you on SSB a few times, and your station
always sounds good. I usually work 14.070, 7.035, or 7.070, more
rarely 3.580.

Looking forward to seeing you on PSK31!

Jeff/KD4RBG

>I've finally got around to setting up PSK here and it seems like a lot of ragchewing goes on for the most part. Don't get me wrong, I've done my share of ragchewing, but now I'm much more interested in filling my log with new band/mode countries.
>So, my question is, when working a DX station on PSK, what is the typical exchange?
>Something like:
>"DX1DX Thanks, ur 599 de WF4W"
>or because of the nature of PSK should the exchange have more info.
>
>I'm so used to the quick exchanges in pileups using other modes, I just wanted to see what others might be doing on PSK and avoid any PSK etiquette problems.
>Thanks, 73, Tad, WF4W
