I was working on the Yaesu and turned it on and found 20 was open at 0600Z
to VK/ZL. There were 2 Italians coming through S8 to 9 off the back of the
beam. There was a VK net on 14180 and several VK's and ZL's were S6 to 9
and VK0BP was S5 when I switched to the Carolina 80. Nothing rare just
Antartica.
T30 was S8 on CW and a 5W was good very low in the band on CW working W8's.
There was a FK on 14250 speaking French with F stations on their long path.
I also heard VK's working a HA who was readable on backscatter on 14255.
Someone started calling him in Hungarian and he finally heard them. The
station was S7 beaming 265 degrees and fuinally signed HA7 something. Since
he was coming in with VK's I can only assume this was the HA7 op at TX3A. I
listened for half an hour but TX3A did not come up on 20 CW or SSB. If it
was TX3A then this was the loudest they have been at my QTH.
