[SEDXC] Is it just me, or does the FT5GA gang.....

Tad - I applaud your huevos! It's always extremely dangerous to say anything about a DXpedition as most of the responses tag one as a "whiner" or run something like " . . . well man, if you can do better, you go . . . " which obfuscates the comment.

Not needing the FT5, and, being a recognized curmudgeon, and, having the leisure to follow them - at least through the posted spots and on my "wire," I'd have to say that I don't think they are intentionally avoiding the US or NA. To me, it appears that they just don't have a handle on propagation under these poor conditions and are having a lot of trouble getting their act together!

Here we have the 4th most needed DXCC entity in the world jumping around frequencies, spending hours on end on RTTY - and doing it poorly as well(gee, I know the RTTY guys and gals are going to flame me for that comment), apparently not knowledgeable about or at least not paying any attention to gray-line propagation, etc.

I would have thought that for the 4th most need in the world it might be a good idea to put a station on 20 CW (and maybe 40 CW as well) pretty much 24/7 to give as many individual stations as great an opportunity as possible to get in the log. But hey, that's just me - and - I'm not there - man! -- 73 -- es gl -- Don N4HH
