If you are buying IRC's make sure you get the Narobi model that went on sale
Sept. 15
The old style is still in stock although post offices should stop selling
them Oct. 15.
 
The old IRC that expires on December 31 (Bejing model) can be exchanged for
either an airmail international stamp or
for a new IRC. (although not a straight one for one swap) You may have to
pay a bit.
The exchange rate is the price printed on the IRC + any additional affixed
stamps - $0.01
Also, the IRC that you are turning in has to have the price on it in US
dollars and stamps,
One can't exchange a foreign issured IRC for a new US IRC.
