Things picked up FB later in the evening, although the bands never did
sound right even up to 0300Z.  160 was as quiet as I have ever heard it
- thought for sure the preamps were dead but they were fine.  80 was
so-so; I got called by a few EU stations including OM2VL who is always
loud and quite a few west coast stations but they sounded weak compared
to usual.  40 went longer than usual earlier than usual.  Today could be
better or more of the same - that's what makes this hobby interesting..
