I got a late start and have worked 3 of the 4 new DXCC entities including
our own PJ6A on 4 bands. I did not turn on the amp except for the 75 meter
QSOs with PJ6A and PJ7E.
On Wednesday afternoon 10 was open and signals were loud but 17 and 15
signals were very weak. I could only point my beam East. Today 17 and 15
are much better but PJ4B on 21290 was in and out
and I did get the beams on him. Finally he came up to S8 and I promptly
worked him.
The big disappointment is that the only PJ2 I heard on SSB was PJ2MI on 20
and he was not available for Dxpeditions QSOs and PJ2A who was very weak on
17 and 15 on Wednesday. Everyone was aking where was PJ2T and he was
spotted on RTTY.
12 and 10 have not opened to PJ today so far. PJ4W was on 28450 but all I
heade was a weak LU
and a loud KP2/N1 was on 24945 as the only signal on the band here at 1900Z.
PJ7MF was on 40 last nite. He is the Chef at a Hotel Resort on St. Martin.
He is using a Ten Tec tuner that I sent him late last year.
