Interesting to hear Dave's comments on headsets......
I have a Heil Pro Set 5 (HC-5 full range cartridge) and a pair of Radio
Shack Stereo headphones. I rarely use either one as to me they are
nothing but encumbrances while operating. In 52 years a a ham I have
never really used headphones to any extent.
Presently I feed the K-3 audio into a GAP "Hear IT" DSP module, and
hence into a MFJ Model 281 "Clear Tone" speaker . The GAP module makes
a great transceiver even better.
However I do have to keep the shack door closed as the XYL does not like
the "beeping" on CW.
