[SEDXC] VK9HR Lord Howe Island

18.123 litening up 10.  Weak S2 to S6 but workable.

My first QSO with Lord Howe was a VK2/LH
in 1960 on 20 meters AM.  He finally got the Ted Henry(w6UOU) famous 
Argonaut 60 watt rig for SSB later.

Boy conditions were great in 1960 compared to today.  20 was open around the 
clock just not nearly as much DX.  Old timers will remember
CR9AH (XX9), VS4JT, 9M2GA, VK9AD (Stan on Norfolk), KR6AF (running patches 
at 20 over 9), VK3BH (Bill Hemple) going to rare ones, CR6CA, and 9Q5USA as 
the Belgium Congo got independence, FF8CW one nite he was French West Africa 
and the next nite he was Senegal.

Even Val's bird feeder could get through to most of the DX.
