My wife's car is in her name and she has her own call plates on it. My truck has mine on it. $25 for each plate is acceptable but it would be nice to have a better rate. At one  point, Texas thought they were going to raise a boatload of money by upping the fee for vanity plates to $75. It didn't work - nobody bought plates for a couple of years. Then it went down to $25 and when I'm back there, I see more vanity plates than regular plates. And ham plates cost $1 but you have to notarize that a working ham radio is installed.
