This has already been going on for years, Mike.

I bought incandescent low voltage lights from Lowe's or Home Depot 10-15 
years ago, and they tore the radios up bad. I had to convert them to 
transformer supplies.

My neighbor's Black and Decker drill charger tears up 160 meters.

We just have to embrace and enjoy the deregulation and free trade we all 
wanted.    :-)
