Below is a listing of a TS940SA station for sale by AE4NY.   Russ wants to sell these
4 items as a group.  As a former TS940 owner, I highly recommend it as a starting rig for someone new to HF or as a backup rig.

Russ would like $750 for everything.  The TS-940SAT is currently in
service and has been for some time.  It works perfectly as does the mic
and speaker.  The scope has not been in service but appears to be
working fine.
Kenwood TS-940-SAT Transceiver. 100 watts, 160-10 meters. Introduced in 1984 and was considered the top transceiver available at the time. Many features listed in the manual include significant ability to shape and tailor the audio to suit the most discriminating ear. This unit includes the automatic antenna tuner.
Kenwood SP-820 Speaker. The Kenwood SP-820 communications speaker has selectable tone filters to attenuate high and/or low frequencies. Plus you can select between two audio input sources. The ¼ inch headphone jack on the front panel is post-filtration. The rear panel has three RCA phono jacks for: Inputs A and B and Line Output.
Kenwood MC-60 desk microphone- has a communication type dynamic unidirectional moving coil type mic element. It features up-down tuning (on compatible Kenwood transceivers) plus a built-in pre-amp. There is a switch for ptt (push to talk) and also a lock feature.
Heathkit Model HO-10 Monitor Scope. This was designed as a small, compact instrument to be used with an amateur station for on the air signal monitoring. The scope can be used on ham bands, 160 through 6 meters, without additional tuning or modification.
