[SEDXC] Straight Key Night 2014

Hello all:

I write to encourage everyone who can to participate in the ARRL's 
Annual Straight Key Night this year.  It runs for the 24 hours UTC of 
January 1, so it starts on New Year's even and goes until 7 PM New 
Year's Day.  You are encouraged (but not required) to use a Straight Key 
or Bug.  You may want to get out some vintage equipment to use too for 
old time's sake.

During those hours, substitute the letters "SKN" for "RST" before your 
signal reports sent.  At the end of the period, send to 
StraightKey at arrl.org a list of the stations worked and your vote for the 
most interesting QSO you had or heard during the period.  In former 
years, they asked also for a vote for the best straight key fist heard 
and it wouldn't hurt to give them the same information or include it in 
your Soapbox comments.  See the ARRL Contest website for a link where 
soapbox comments are to be sent.
