My first memory of W6ISQ, was an article in QST called, "Your Novice Accent."  The article described how to be a better operator and not be known as a beginner but rather a good.  I used it as a model on how to operate.  A few months after the article,  I worked him in the SS Contest and received his QSL card which I still treasure.  We was a model operator.

I remember the articles W6ISQ wrote for QST.

Although not a real award, In 1962 he offered a Contesters Anonymous award for 
making over 200K points in the ARRL SS.  Mine is just as prized as any other 
award I have.
