I managed to break the West Coast wall tonight on 1O CW to the VK9X around 0105 GMT.  Below is some info from Bill, KC4AA who worked the VK9 on 15 SSB
 
I managed to break the VK9X/K7CO pileup on 15 meter SSB this morning at 17:19 UTC.  I now have 316 DXCC entities worked and have confirmed 312 with the arrival of
a QSL card from ZS8C on Monday (3 March 2014).  I was very surprised with the excellent 15 meter propagation conditions today.  Band conditions on 10 meters are the
best I have heard in the last 20 years.
