Yeah this isn't the 1st time the cancellation scenario has taken place. Glad I worked them back in the '60's as YV0AA.

The recent announced DXpedition to Aves Island was cancelled at the last minute.  
I think that the problem was the Venezuelan Navy which balked just before 
departure.  I can't recall the last trip to Aves possibly 7 or 8 years ago?
