          Soapbox : Saturday was more productive than Sunday.  On Saturday
20M was reliably open beyond a few hundred miles,

          throughout Canada and to the west coast.  40M was quite good for
the eastern half of the US and sometimes further.  

          80M was OK but without a lot of GQP activity.  Sunday was more
difficult.  20M was sporadic with generally poor 

          signals to/from the west coast and heavy QSB.  40M seemed weak
with difficult mid and long-range signals until 

          late in the day. Although conditions were far from great I managed
to reach my best score to date.  

          50 states and nine provinces.  Had two chances for HI and one
connected.
