[SEDXC] 6 M DX Report

Exactly, that was short lived and very narrow opening seemed to be on Marietta and Gwinett County. Wish you could have completed with one but think you have a JA from before.

No JA at the normal time tonight although FL and stations north of us were working them. I walked back to the shack around 10:11 local and saw two JA calling CQ which is really weird. I have never seen any JA that late. I called and worked JA7QVI at 10:13 PM just to work one at that time. I called CQ a few mins and could see several PSK spots of my calls but I saw that it was going away. I looked back and they were only in here less than 10 mins and it was done.

Hope for something good tomorrow. 73

Yesterday. 2 JA stations answered my CQ. The path was so poor that I never got a RR73 from either. JA1BK uploaded to lotw today and i didn’t get a match. The other guy wasn’t a lotw user. A third JA called me but I had looked away for 15 seconds and missed him completely.

It don’t think it lasted more than 15 minutes. Was definitely an adrenaline rush!

I turned the antenna but heard none and he said he had copied 8 different ones. He uses a 3 ele yagi at 30 ft. Then I also saw ND4V calling JA and possibly some other stations in east ATL. I could hear nothing on either of my antennas and neither could KX4R in Rockmart. I think Hal worked his first ever JA but it was short lived.

He worked several in the ATL area and surrounding including K5XI who remotes in here from out west on RHR.. He will be there until the 17th and was worked by N3XX on 12 M CW before 7 AM local today. Lets see what tonight brings.. 73 Mike
