*If you have not already noticed my reports are all geared to FT8 mode.
That's not to say we couldn't work anything on CW or SSB but a lot of
the days we would declare the band dead on the other modes while it is
open on FT8.*

*Things started slow this morning with nothing but an EA8 fest..
Through the afternoon things tried to get going but nothing ever did
well.  Through most the afternoon up to 2100 GMT  heard EA8, CO, CU, CT
EA, PV8, KP4, ZF, PV8. VP9, VP5, HI8, PZ5, HI8, HH and 9Y4.  Around 2130
the band cracked open with lots of EA, CT, some I, IS0, IT9, EA9.  I got
one decode from 4X4DK but he was wanting W6 stations.  I was getting PSK
reports back from as far in as 5B4 and 9H1 but guess all were asleep or
celebrating the weekend.*

*I saw some calls from 3 land for the S01 but I never copied him.
Talking with KX4R he feels the S01 yesterday was really on Fox Hound
mode but not using it properly.  He was up around 1275 offset and
normally in F/H mode he should have been below 900 with all callers
above 1000.  Be confident you understand the F/H mode as you might get a
chance to call him but for sure the KH1 expedition will be using it on
HF.  One of our club members N4HU is on the trip and he left yesterday
on the way there.  They will be going to Fiji, then to Western Samoa and
the American Samoa to pick up the boat to KH1.
*

*Everyone seemed to want to be on 313 today and never got much movement
over to 323.  That would have really helped things.  We have still not
had a deep EU opening but feel one will come.  It has usually been I, up
to DL with an occasional S5 but a deep opening to YU, YO, SP, UB, 4O,
etc. will eventually happen.*

*We need a good morning opening instead of the after lunch time ones.
