If you are a FT8 user you might study JTDX versus WSJT
Hi All
Please find attached the latest test result by Igor UA3DJY for information
All these test can and is encouraged for users to make comparisons in
their own set ups and methods, and all the published reults are compared
from the same publically availible test files form the links and on
JTDX.tech site links also.
The latests few Release candidates have now increased the sensitivity
for FT8 by an incredible level as the results show
The importance of carrying out a clean install in any RC that are released!
on rare occasion when things are added to and subtracted from the .ini
file used by JTDX this file may not perform as expected, so we recommend
a clean install. A clean install does not mean an uninstall of the
previous RC, it indicates a new "unique named .ini file" this file can
be seen in log directory folder and with JTDX not running this .ini file
should be renamed and JTDX opened to allow creation of a new .ini file,
the screen shots have temporarily removed from files section. Please
carry out a clean install
Remote assistance can be done and is offered using a program called
AeroAdmin which is free for this type of use, this allow limited control
over another computer to facilitate and demonstrating a new clean
install, which can include audio alignment and general setting for JTDX
and the users computer, audio set up this is not a problem or an issue
to assist users, this can be requested here or by E-mail to QRZ address
or group admin,owners contacts.
JTDX facilities and settings
For some time JTDX has offered and delivered superior decoding
facilities to assist users in many difficult conditions and busy bands,
Filtering, QRM protections allowing the user to focus on their desired
focus and aims of the users, please feel free to ask if you are unsure
of any of these facilities are or if they could provide a better
experience for a users set up or conditions and prevent QRM using
counters and selective filters etc.
The files section is being cleaned out, for information, and will be
updated in due course

Thank you and have a great week there
