ATL is doing a good job as this morning only 1 station in the ATL area was on EVEN calling CQ. It is just the opposite in the evenings where most of the JA want us on EVEN 00/30. I know when you are answering people you dont have a choice but at least on CQ you do. It is nice to see 10 ATL stations CQ on ODD and then the EVEN sequence is nice and quiet for any weak signals from EU.
Mike,
Is this standard written down anywhere?
I’ve noticed this behavior on 6m, and even some on 12m, where I’ve done a lot of FT8 looking to complete DXCC there as well as WAS.
I’ve even gone looking in the FT8 documentation to see if there was a recommendation, but I found nothing.
It might be easier to encourage everyone to do this if there was a recommendation published some way other than word of mouth….
