Normally if I dont mention a mode it will be FT8.  There little activity
DX wise on SSB and CW not to say there can't be any but the odds go with
FT8 when looking for weak signals.

The band opened sometime prior to 10:30 GMT this morning which is not a
normal occurrence but it does happen.  Signals were banging in.
Following heard at my house

/S = more than 1   G/S, EI/S, OK, OM/S, OE/S, ON/S, UT/S, GD/S,GW/S,LZ,
LY, TF, GM/S,4X/S.    This lasted up till around 1600 GMT.  After that
there was stuff in an out most of the afternoon.  UT coming and going.

I don't hear as well as several of the guys around town.  N4HU in
Rutledge east of ATL hears better than most in town.  This morning he
heard 5 A4 stations and worked two of them along with 9K2.  I never
heard any of them.  Tonight he worked HL3 which I never heard..

N3XX south of ATL airport tonight worked BA4SI and two Korean stations.
I never heard any of them.  These stations didnt start till around
0100.  I saw several other stations in the area calling the HL.

KX4R is the next on the list for hearing better than me.

There are other stations in northern GA possibly hearing much better but
further out in the area which makes it hard for me to make any
comparison with what they are hearing as propagation varies within just
a few miles.

I don't know if I have a problem somewhere or it is just my locale.
Probably not the quietest.  Anyway you have to work with what you have.
