WOW what a day.  Around 12:45 GMT it opened to EU and it roared with big
signals until around 16:30 GMT.  Countries heard here. /S means
several.  DL/S, PA/S, G/S, YO, F, ON/S, GW/S, EI, I, UT/S, MD/S, OZ/S,
LA/S, GI, SM, S5/S, LY, GM, EA6, OH0.  Worked about 59 stations during
the morning.  Band died/ around 16:30.  Quiet most of the afternoon but
around 2100  GMT it opened again to northern EU with strong signals.
Stations heard OZ/S, LA/S,TF/S. SM/S, ES/S, YL/S. G, SP/S,UT/S, OH0, OH,
EI, SV, SV9.  That ran until around 2300 GMT.  While that was going on
some JA stations were coming through.  Turned to JA and worked some of
them until around 0000.  Possibly other stations around town heard some
that I didn't.

Once during the morning run I did go down and check the CW band and
there was not a single DX station there.  At one point I decoded 47 EU
in one sequence.  Everyone in town was on the hunt for something new and
many worked new countries today.  Several of us being grid hunters
worked many new ones.  Maybe we get lucky and hear another one like
today but normally you dont see two in a row.
