[SEDXC] LONG PATH 15 TO ASIA

By the way Clark the LP on 15 has been 160 deg primarily which is direct 
LP to a lot of the Asias.  I did not move off 160 deg over the past two 
weeks working a lot of Asians on FT8.  The other guys in the area 
working them told me that saw the same thing.  On 20, 40 and 80  we have 
primarily skewed path in the mornings coming more out of the Southwest.  
In afternoons they come out of the Southeast on those bands.

What I have seen over the years 17 M and up, long path is usually direct 
and not skewed like 20 and down in the mornings.  There are always 
exceptions so you have to be on guard.  I don't think the prop 
prediction programs do much in the way of LP prediction but I have not 
looked at that many.

I have seen on occasion where both paths were open and unless you have 
great F/B on your RX antenna it is hard to copy as one path is delayed 
by a fraction of a second and it sounds like two stations on the same 
freq. competing with each other.  That happens more during the high 
solar flux periods but doesn't have to be.  Lets hope condx improve.  73
