[SEDXC] USING FT8 ON 6 M

Using FT8 on 6 M is somewhat different from using it on HF.  If you have 
the June QST please read How's DX by W3UR who does a very good job of 
laying it out how to use the correct sequences on 6 M. Another side 
note; the longest European 6 M E skip opening I have ever observed in 
the 20 years I have been on 6 was yesterday Thursday July 8.  It started 
before 7 AM local here in ATL and was still going after 7 PM local. Some 
locals worked Taiwan and China in the late afternoon.  Very rare.  I was 
not lucky enough.  Back to the hum drum of pretty much nothing today.

There was an opening a couple of weeks ago so good, EU could receive 
commercial FM music broadcast from the US.

Tip of the day working DX on 6 M.  There was so much traffic yesterday I 
filtered out all North America using the filter selection in JTDX.  I 
think WSJT has it also.  That way my computer was happy with a much 
lighter load.  Also with the new JT Alert 2.50.2 you can cover up the 
USA display with the DX display and you never see any North America 
making it easier to concentrate on what you are looking for.  DX !
