I am sorry, guys.
I tuned into 20m, plugged in the one hand mic I have for that radio...got freaked out, kept coming back, thought about devising a way to clip the mic shirt and do vox so two hands could be on the keyboard. Got freaked out. Tuned around some more. Acquired sweaty palms. The lapel thing wasn't working out... I probably did not want it to, had I a boom-set I'd still have likely twirled away.  Finally sought refuge on CW with a lot less stress.
I did try putting up an 80m wire in the trees before Daddy/Daughter nite at Sparkles skating rink, only thing left was soldering on a PL 259.   I had a 2 hour window to find my fishing pole and cast rope, solo, went back and forth on my bicycle trying to clear branches while wife and daughter napped, before the Rink Event.  But the wire was a perfect slope to the east. So I just bailed on the whole thing.  I think I need to stay with the simple NAQP type exchange before I can believe I could adequately operate The Sprint.  73.
