This coming weekend is the annual Georgia QSO Party, Sat and Sun. All
information at georgiaqsoparty.com. For most of the time we will be
doing our QP on Saturday, New Mexico will also be doing a QSO Party.
K8TE/M will go to a number of NM counties. It would be a shame if we
didn't work NM and if they didn't work GA when we are on at the same
time. The exchange for NM is Name + state or NM county. So, if you get
called by a NM station send your name, RST, county and state and they
should do the same thing and then it will count for both contests.
There are other contests also this weekend. See the summaries below.
Please make a effort to be QRV in the GQP as much as possible. Let's
really put GA on the map this weekend and have a lot of fun too. Will
this be the year that someone works all GA counties? Info on activity
and routes is also on the webpage. There will be a lot of mobiles out
including W4AN/M, our SECC club call. Tell your friends who work HF and
may not know about it.
Thanks and 73, John, K4BAI, for SECC and SEDXC.
